Trick : Launch Edit to open the configuration file. In the [Général] section, add the line : Délai Minimum=1 (if you want to reduce the time limit to 1 second) Relaunch MSN Pictures Displayer and adjust the delay to 1 second. Nota : The change of picture is carried out simultaneously on your window and that of your contacts. A very small delay uses lots of processor ressources of all connected computers. So, they can heat if you do that a long time. Moreover, your bandwidth is overused each time you change your display picture. Cette astuce est donc à utiliser avec précaution, et est vivement déconseillée si vous ou vos contacts utilisez un ordinateur ancien ou une connexion bas débit. Use this trick with precaution ; it's highly disadvised if you or your contacts use an old computer or a low Internet connection.

>> If you want to increase the time between two pictures beyond 1 hour...

Trick : Launch Edit to open the configuration file. In the [Général] section, add the line : Délai Maximum=x (x represents the maximum delay in hours that you wish to define, between 1 and 100) Relaunch MSN Pictures Displayer and adjust the delay to the desired value. Nota : This option is useful for those wishing to rarely change display picture, once a day for example. When you close Messenger or MSN Pictures Displayer, the time remaining before the next display picture is saved so that the timer correctly takes again the calculation with next connection.

>> If you want to access the avatar folder cache of Messenger...

Trick : When you are connected, select the folder explorer of MSN Pictures Displayer, and press F10. All your previous displayed pictures will be shown in the file explorer.

>> If you want to add all the pictures of a whole directory to your slideshow...

Trick : Drag a folder from Windows explorer or MSN Pictures Displayer folder explorer and... ... drop it into the slideshow area, in order to add all the pictures, except those of subfolders. ... drop it into the slideshow area by pressing Ctrl, in order to add all the pictures, including those of the subfolders level 1. ... drop it into the slideshow area by pressing Ctrl + Shift, in order to add all the pictures, including those of all subfolders. Nota : When your pictures are being added, simply press Echap to stop the process.

>> If you want to launch MSN Pictures Displayer in "test" mode...

Trick : This trick enables you to launch MSN Pictures Displayer without background, scrolling menu and animated icon. This can be useful if you want to save memory. Launch Edit to open the configuration file. In the [Général] section, add the line : Ressources Minimales=1 Relaunch MSN Pictures Displayer.

>> If you want to increase the limit of 500 pictures per slideshow...

Trick : You can increase this limit since version 4.4.0.2. Launch Edit to open the configuration file. In the [Général] section, add the line : Maximages=x x is the new limit you want (at least 500) ; put 0 for no limit. Relaunch MSN Pictures Displayer. Nota : - Using oversized slideshows increases RAM usage and time when launching and closing MSN Pictures Displayer. - Oversized slideshows can't be opened with MSN Pictures Displayer until you remove the limit.
